Photo Delivery

If we call ahead of time to ensure they are there for the photo then the surprise is spoilt. So generally we try to deliver, if they are not there when we deliver but someone is there and says they will return shortly then the flowers are left there.

Otherwise we can call them prior to delivery to make sure they will be there and then we can almost always get a photo.

If you want us to do that when you order please state in the instructions for us to call her to make sure she is there before we deliver because you really want a photo

This overseas customer was asking our advice about where to send flowers to a ladies home or workplace..

Do you think that she will be happy if I send flowers on Valentine? I am not very familiar with Thai culture so I do not know how she will react.
I respect people and I do not want to offense her by sending something that se will dislike.

We are not really friends. I just saw her a couple of times at the hotel. Then, I was sending some gift from US. As you know, she did not respond any questions that delivery person asked her.

Thanks for your email. No, I think its better to send them to their workplace. Actually sometimes we send to peoples homes and the recipient requests us to send them the next day to her workplace. Thai people sometimes love to show off.. so getting them at work is something they really like so their colleagues can see. Of course I am generalizing and everyone is different.

Thai botanists have managed to reproduce such prized, rare orchids as the pure white orchid flower, of which only six specimens have been found in the wild, in the laboratory and rearing house. Export of forest-gathered plants of this species, and other rare varieties ,would be impossible as they are on the Endangered Species List. But export of certified artificially-bred culture can allow orchid fanciers throughout the world to rear and enjoy rare specimens in their own greenhouses and homes.
Northern Thailand has become an important centre of orchid cultivation. While temperate climate fanciers must rear orchids in heated greenhouses, orchid growers in Chiangmai are able to do so in the open due to Chiangmai’s favourable climate. A number of orchid nurseries have sprung up in Chiangmai, some being located in Mae Rim along the Mae Rim-Samoeng road and others are located to the south of Chiangmai on the road to Jom Thong and Mae Sariang. Many of these operate both as commercial orchid breeding and rearing farms and as tourist attractions.
Visitors to Chiangmai enjoy viewing orchids at these facilities during 2 specific seasons. The lesser blooming season is in August in the middle of the Thai rainy season. But the orchid’s ability to store water means that January is the major blooming season throughout Thailand. Visitors to orchid farms around Chiangmai will be treated to a special display of the incredible variety of colour and beauty of this hardy yet visually alluring flower.
